BE SURE TO ALSO READ NEWITEM.TXT.. VERY IMPORTANT CHANGES ARE LISTED IN IT. There has been a low level error which gives runtime error F0. I assumed that the low level code which tests the dos environment for where Collie overlays should be was working since I had not touched it at all since I got the original source code for 1.20i. Guess what???? IT DIDN'T WORK!!!! I just re-wrote the whole thing, and tested it with Collie overlays on drive E:, messages on drive D: and Collie work files on drive C:, and all went well. I have put a report in just under 'opening work files' which reports all three paths mentioned above, so you can see immediately if there is a problem. This should work fine now. Sorry about that, I should have learned a long time ago not to assume that anything works as it should. Chuck ps be SURE, if you set the environment, to do something like this with NO SPACES!!!! SET COLLIE=E:\COL where col is a subdir on another drive or ramdisk. no subdir will also work well also if you use the \ after the drive spec. like E:\
